The PM-5 series high-precision ultrasonic thickness gauge which developed and produced by Yushi Instruments adopt the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection and use a single crystal delay probe to emit the sound waves into the material from one side of the workpiece to measure the thickness in real time. It is an ultra-small measuring instrument without cutting the workpiece. It can measure quickly, without damage, and accurately. This instrument uses multiple echoes to improve accuracy, so that the resolution can reach 0.001mm, and the measurement limit is 0.2mm. It also provides A and B scanning functions, and the echo display can help user to control the measurement, make the thickness measurement range wider, make the measurement value more accurate, meanwhile avoid material-related errors in the measurement.
It can match six types of probes. They are delay line probes, contact probes, pen type probes, protective probes, water immersion probes and high temperature probes.
This instrument can be widely used to measure the thickness of metal materials. Especially for thin plates and high-precision measurement. In addition, this instrument can also penetrate the coatings, paint layers, and can be used to measure ultra-thin walls with paint layers such as fire extinguishers.
What's more, PM5 Gen2 is totally in conform with IP67 waterproof and dustproof.
